Los gráficos introducen a los jugadores en sus escenarios de rock y aumentan su experiencia visual mientras que los nuevos mandos inalámbricos de guitarra Gibson les permiten sacar a los dioses de la guitarra que llevan dentro. El modo guerra, inspirado por los arcade, el modo cooperativo expandido y las guerras contra los jefes añaden profundidad y mayor jugabilidad durante incontables horas de rasgueo de cuerdas.
